My daughter can’t get enough of this book! She asks to read it often. The sequencing is fun to read aloud. I personally don’t love the idea of the rooster trying to scare the characters into helping him and getting his way, but it was entertaining nonetheless. I understand it comes from Cuban folklore, which is cool!
