I wanted to like it, I really did, but it was like watching a first edit. The whole movie felt rushed, and disconnected and the special effects were so comically over the top to the point I felt I was watching a cartoon because physics wasn’t even a consideration. The only two parts that were even slightly interesting were the 5 min of young Diana and Chris Pine trying on clothes/marveling at 1984 technology. I suspect there is footage that fills in a lot of gaps that the studio forced PJ to remove that would have made WW84 a more watchable movie but we may never know. Why is it so difficult for WB to get their DC house in order? They just keep pumping out mediocre drivel and expect we’ll keep watching. Hire a good story teller to write the next movie and get out of PJ’s way. Focus on the story and the rest will fall into place.
