All the right ingredients for an omelette but ended up being scrambled egg.
So this isn't a bad film necessarily and I've seen much worse recently but I feel like it was mostly ruined by action for the sake of action and that they turned the action dial up to 11 ( which is a trend for Netflix films) I feel like the hand to hand fighting scenes were decent though.
This could have been quite a clever spy movie with some comedy thrown in but it just missed the mark which was surprising considering the Russo brothers being involved. I also don't know if they got a new drone for the studio and had to justify the cost but the drone shots for me we're just pointless and for the most part disorienting.
Another niggle was the supposed "highly trained hit squads" which never aimed down their weapons and just walked into the open etc which just kind of adds to the sense of action for the sake of action.
Like I said it's not an awful film but it's just a bit lost on whether it wants to be a comedy movie, a full throttle action or a sleek spy film.
I didn't feel like I wasted my time at the end of it but I also don't have any compulsion to watch it again or recommend it to anyone.
