Look, I went in to this movie with low expectations and was still let down. Brie Larson talked her way into a hot mess because she did not deliver at all in this film. I really think she was the least talented actor/actress in the film. All other performances outshined Brie's to include the best friend or hell even the best friend's kid had more personality. When Brie Larson and Samuel Jackson were together, he almost saves the scenes but even still I found myself just wanting an action scene to happen in hopes it would maybe pull me back into the movie. The layout of the film went from jumping around a lot in the beginning to a good 45 min to an hour borefest in the middle, and finally 20 or so minutes of okay action scenes in the end. However, the main Skrull commander was fantastic. Great acting from him, he provided that bad guy, humorous and at times emotional heartfelt scenes. Long story short, this is a definite wait for Redbox film.

MK11 for switch is a DISASTER. First they decided to use a smaller cartridge (6gb) for physical sales then have the consumers purchase the game and download the rest of the data on day one to their personal sd cards which came in over 15gb! (Which costs roughly 10$ of storage for the user to have to fork out for what's suppossed to be a convenient mobile gaming platform. Remember this because we're coming back to this point in a bit) While that was downloading I was able to only play single player regular towers which also seems like there was a pretty decent portion of it is dedicated for graphical upgrades.Once the download was done I packed my switch up and headed to work. You know, because it's whole thing is 'gaming on the go.' Once I get some time off while sitting in my car I decided to run towers and go through tutorial mode and SURPRISE SURPRISE! 90 percent of the game is onlne only. (Pretty much a graphical upgrade of mobile games like Clash of Titans. $$$) Frustrated I waited till I got home to connect to internet and really try it out and oh ohhhhh. The game's Towers of Time mode which is really the main place to earn koins and other currencies to purchase upgrades and gear was so incredibly hard and stacked against me that after a few hours it wasn't even fun anymore. After 8 hours of total gameplay with the same character I finally earned enough xp to augment my gear which means once I augment it all those other pieces of gear the game advertised which is almost never seen or earned without buying wouldn't even be used unless I wanted to grind another 8 hours to be able to augment it. Which totally killed the joy of customization. Boon said the game's gear is meant to be earned in game but not bought and I call bullsh!t. WB is testing what they can get away with so they can roll out more microtransactions like match skips and gear pieces from people who are just plain tired of spending so much time to find it. This is plain greedy anyway you slice it. Don't forget what WB has done in the past with their games. I highly doubt they've changed their ways.
