Honestly I do not think it is a terrible movie. It is really good and has a great story. But the reason I’m giving it a three star is as follows: It felt like it wasn’t a Dr. Strange movie but rather a Wanda movie. I think Wanda is amazing, but if you’re going to name it Dr. Strange, I expect him to be the MVP. It was almost as if he was playing supporting actor instead of the main. I was so looking forward to this movie because I adore Dr Strange. But it kinda felt like this movie wasn’t about him. There is A LOT going on in this movie (and for some it could be a lot to keep up with) that I feel like this storyline and movie could have been divided into episodes and put into a TV show. And I am aware Wanda HAS a TV show, and since she was basically the main character in this movie, this could have wonderfully been put as part of her TV show. I’ve followed basically all of Marvel, I know the individual characters and their abilities, I know Dr. Strange and Wanda I feel like that might have been the reason I almost was not fully satisfied with it. I feel like if I were not a Marvel fan, and did not know much about all the different characters of Marvel and watched this, I would genuinely have LOVED IT. It is a good movie. I could just blame that on fact that maybe the movie wasn’t what I expected and was different. So if you’re going to watch the movie, expect the unexpected!
