I was in graduating high school when this drama first came out. Though the book is different, I enjoyed the musical motifs and the suspense created in the show. The tension of these two intelligent characters attempting to save their country without bloodshed was intriguing to watch. The green screen was frustrating at first, but after a while I didn't care because the music filled in the gaps and gave the storyline a beautiful and suspenseful atmosphere. Out of any other C-drama, I always rewatch this one every year because of the music and how the musical motifs portray the intensity of each character. In terms of production, it may have lacked, but the emotion from the two main characters was fantastic. Talk about the ability to show emotion on screen whilst also hiding your emotions from the enemy and political circles.
