I wasn't initially interested in reviewing this movie, but given the misleading nature of other reviews, I felt compelled to write an honest, unpaid critique (spoilers ahead).
To put it simply, this movie is mediocre. The plotline is decent, but the execution is lacking. The movie feels disjointed and does not flow smoothly. The lead actor, Even Whitten (playing Alex), misses the mark with his performance, which is so poor that it detracts from the overall viewing experience.
On a positive note, the character Chupa was well-done, although personally, I would have preferred if he was cuter.
I don't want to come across as too negative, but I must give credit where it's due: the CGI and creativity in this film are noteworthy. However, the character of the Grandpa, who lost his memory, is quite annoying and detracts from the overall experience.
The acting, storyline, and cringe level of this film are all BAD. My recommendation is to save yourself the time and watch ET instead. Goodbye!
