Can I give it no stars? Mutter, mutter, effing mutter, ad libbing straight from a school play - sorry all hardworking drama teachers - and 30 minutes into it could be shorted to someone going into the pub "Here our David's back and he's been stabbed, but got enough cash for Dad's wake. I bet Grace is still annoyed that he left her but we are going to patch him up and say some prayers".
Job done.

I found it in the holiday resort library. Read it in two days. Initially didn't like the protagonist although later in the book I could understand why she was as she was.
Found it an easy no thinkg read. Wouldn't rush to get another Dawn O'Porter.
Give me an Amanda Prowse any day of the week. Book is back in the resort library.
