I love the quirkiness of Kari Sorjanen. All of the main chatacters are human, very well detailed & true to character. Learn a little Finnish whole you watch! The subtitles are done well, although sometimes they lag behind the action. Dark, often menacing villains & flawed heroes. Just what I'd expect from Nordic Noir. The episodes keep you glued to the tv. Thoroughly recommend

A fantastic show. Drama, excellent character portrayals, some twists and turns. Surrounding the police procedural and Valeria's intuition is the leitmotif of her family, her mother who at the start is imprisoned, her brother and wife & child. The other police characters are real, have their faults & moments of brilliance. But Valeria's empathy, pathos and regret most compelling. Easy to follow for those who don't speak Italian, but you will end up wanting to learn, the language is so melodic. A crime drama that is more about the people, pathos and decisions we make than blood.
