The finale gave me hope but the show took off so slow, and the brooding teen in every single character is bland with a side of bland. The human father so far has been more Mama bear than Mama wolf. Season two would be nice to see the depths of the teen characters, especially Luna and Harlan. Just cannot get invested in their saga due to their acting like supporting cast. Like you're not going to miss them if they're gone. They'll just be a reference. I'd be sad for their adoptive dad because you feel his love. So I won't be chatting this up with my friends until it comes back, like Buffy days, but if we could see the character development sharply incline maybe. It's hard to look at SMG. She's beautiful, but her face doesn't move. Too much filler and Botox. Her charm as Buffy was her imperfectly perfect beauty. Her balance of charm, wit, and killer/slayer confidence. Less muscle development and more complicated character development would be appreciated
