I loved this movie... I nursed in aged care for ten years, 7 of those in the dementia specific wing. In that wing, it was our duty as nurses to "...go into our residents' "reality"...not to expect them to come into ours." In this movie, the directors have done exactly that. All credit to them! I wish everyone who has a parent with Alzheimer's/Dementia could see Leisure Seeker; I'm sure it would help them realise they are not alone in this mind-altering journey, and it could offer them an understanding of what they're in for...and that's half the battle ❤️
