A criminally underrated late 90's gem and surely one the greatest indie pop rock albums of all time. "Siren" has it all! Pop, rock, folk, ballads... and running over 60 minutes, you sure get a lot of greatness in its running time. I was 14 years old when this album came out and 25 years on, it is still as much an important record to me as it was upon release.

So.... Just watched The Craft Legacy. Where do I begin? Firstly, I feel there is a hell of a lot of unjustified hatred being aimed at this film. Yes, it is woke. Woke AF! It's definitely a product of life in 2020 which I think is great. It had a lot going on so the film could have done with being longer to give us some more in depth knowledge about certain characters and their storyline but it didn't try to be the original movie. It really made itself its own entity which I'm so pleased about. There was a shedload of Easter eggs which I loved spotting. The chemistry between the Coven is amazing!!! All the girls are great. Their bond was lovely to see. It was very respectful to Witchcraft practice. It thankfully didn't fall into the final act of the first film which I always felt upset by. And.... That final scene has me terribly excited for another film Blumhouse!

It really annoys me that people cannot look at this movie as a stand alone experience to the original movie. Kudos to Guadagnino and Kajganich for doing something completely different. The movie is slow paced but it serves make the shocking moments all that more powerful for it and though it is a long movie it never once felt laborious. I found the entire story engrossing from start to finish. I thought the acting was perfect with Dakota and Tilda stealing the show completely! Their chemistry is mystifying. I thought it was genius to have the power of magic and Witchcraft manifest in the dance sequences. About the dancing - wow. I've never been so transfixed by a scene in a movie as much as i was by the Volk performance. The score by Thom Yorke was a pleasant surprise too. All in all, Suspiria 2018 is a massive success in my eyes.
