Career ending series for the screen adaptors, casters, and director. Last Kingdom was so well done, and this is the poor mans adaptation, with weak sets and unbelieably bad battle scenes. I can forgive most of the woke casting decisions, but the casting and dialogue for the star of the books, Derfel Cardarn is the worst, what a galactically bad misfire. My favorite book series of all time, waited a quarter of a century for the movie/tv series, and they made it low budget and the director put so little effort into the scenes that we have this major disappointment. Compared with Last Kingdom, which was a 10, this is a 1 or 2.
