Director Siva scams us once again after the poor outings with AK and Superstar. Now the Suriya is the latest victim. Movie does not have any vision and clarity. It just goes without a flow with mindless action sequences and dialogues. Outdated plot where Surya keep protecting and helping the kid for no reason irritates at some point. Couple of songs were good but BGM was too loud at most of the scenes where couldn't even hear the dialogues. Even the dialogues are ambiguous, some of them are in ancient tamil and some are in modern Tamil in same time period. Like this the whole movie is confusing. Simply director tried hard to present a outdated plot with confusing screenplay which ended as pathetic outing 😷😷

A decent watch that talks about a sensational issue on banking sectors that prevails currently . Thunivu focusses on making people aware on investments, credit card scams and loans. Ajith Kumar's acting and screen presence helps the movie to move in faster pace . No unusual song placements . Climax is bit awkward to see where both leads of the film manages to escape from the huge navy force despite being hit by them badly.. Though there are few flaws in the movie, Thunivu stands out for its engaging screenplay and delivering a sensitive message.

This type of blind and outdated commercial movies continues to pull the Kollywood standards down.. Movie is focussed on elevating the hero at almost every scene with heavy BGMs. Humours are forced into the movie even though they are not relatable. As usual an actress with no purpose makes the movie even worse.. Movie would work out for few upper class family audience who just enjoy TV serial and never mind to spend money watching them on theatres ..
