Another lifelong fan, reading his books since late 70s. I'm only 41 pages in and for the first time ever I had to stop. Decided to read reviews. So I'm NOT alone. I was a little taken aback the last 4-5 years with little political comments but I knew SKs political views & whatever, that's his right to spout off publicly. And he's pretty vocal at home. But in the novels? Almost feels like a foray into another genre but can't quite decide whether to leave horror. I hope I can finish this one. Pretty disappointed so far, sadly this is the first time I've felt this way. EVER.
