Tommy Burke gives a great anecdotal look at the Film Industry from a "Below-the-Line," insider, which is something that is rarely seen as most books on the industry come from Talent, Producers and Directors. During his journey in making filmed entertainment product, he also shows his sense of humor in dealing with life's ups and downs, including his bout with Hodgkin's Disease and his current bout with Parkinson's. His never quit attitude displayed on the pages are an inspiration for us all. I had the privilege to work with Tommy on two films about 20 years ago and we've been friends ever since. This is a good read for all involved in the movie business. I highly recommend it.
