I was 16 when this movie came out. I thought it was cool but ultimately not interesting. I rewatched it now as a matured adult whom has been able to analyze what I'm watching much better. It's amazing to me how many people missed the mark while watching this. Underneath it's teenage drama leanings and it's attempt to make you uncomfortable, lies a masterpiece in humanity. A young man selfishly trying to better his life, learns through love that the ultimate sacrifice, a selfless choice, makes life for everyone around him better and chooses his friends having a perfect life over his own existence.

Great movie, not perfect but definitely a welcome addition to the horror genre this year. The people on here saying things like "The ones saying its good are paid off" or HBO lost it's quality with this movie are literally braindead. It's a great movie to watch in the dark and kept me interested. It left some questions lingering but overall the story was interesting enough to keep me glued to the TV the whole time.
