October is not just a typical Bollywood love story where you enjoy songs, dance and lot of masala. Its just love, Love beyond romance, it's about unconditional love as depicted in the movie. October beautifully crafts the emotions where you can relate yourself (if you are in love) Varun Dhawan has done his part as Dan very good and showed he can bring out his best, out of any character given to him. Banita Sandhu has a limited role (mostly lying on bed in coma) but whatever screen time she gets in the beginning she done it good with her innocence. October is not every one cup of tea, you might find difficulty with the pace of the movie as it run slowly but as the movie progress with each scene you will love it If you like typical Bollywood love stories than its not for you, but if you wanna see some good cinema than October can be watched once

The movie didn't live up to the expectations. Its a kaiju movie and yet the the kaijus are barely in the movie at the climax only. Rest its like you are watching a transformers movie where a bot is fighting another bot. The director should have focused a little bit more on the character Dovelopment of the actors portrayed in the movie. Until first half there is no kaiju seen in the movie likewise its prequel. The only good part is the Visuals and action scenes. The movie is only meant for sci-fi / monster movie lovers. The climatic battle of the jeagers and the mega kaiju are enjoyable and thus the only saving of the movie.

Saw the movie, couldn't find the story in it. The director seemed to be in hurry just to fold up movie as quick as he can. They could have added another 10-15 mins in the story to fully develope the story and the character's. Well fight sequences are good with some good jokes and that the only saving of the film. Hard to accept its the same director who gave us iron man 3 and yet he made such dull movie The Predator. Well if you have nothing to watch this weekend than only you can go for this, else spend your money in something else.
