I watched the first episode and noticed a lot being said about girl code and no one being sure whether her friends were following it which seemed to heap responsibility on them. But nothing was said about the door staff who kicked her out and wouldn't let her back to get her phone or tell her friends what had happened. Nothing was also said about the man she went back with a situation which left her on the doorstep of his building in tears with no phone to sort out getting home safe. It seems to me these men left her vulnerable to the predator who raped and killed her while her completely innocent friends were trying to find her. I would prefer to live in a world where door staff at least have the common sense not to separate a young girl or any female from her friends and way of getting home and where other women are not held responsible (which is only a short step away from blaming the victim herself).
