This is presented as a struggle, not a romance. Neglect by husband creates need to believe someone else adores her. His commitment is questionable. Good story

Well handled subject matter to anyone trying to rebuild in a society that can’t move on or forgive. Our histories are not always repeated

You have regency costuming and current culture ethics. Makes for a shallow, tawdry show. No amount of costuming would make me watch beyond season 1, and I had to get boots on for that. If you like period pieces, mute it and enjoy costumes as dialogue could have been written by a teenager.

Wonderful movie of grief, anger denial and hope. We can heal, but everyone’s process is different. Sometimes we withdraw and sometimes we fight the devil all toward goal of getting back into life.
