This is hands down my favorite movie in this genre. Everyone shines in the production from the opening credits until the end. Jet Li somehow steals the show as the Monkey King. If you have never seen this film and are going to, know that I am jealous!

Well, well. From this 57 year old retired teacher, who never read the series, I must say, this film was highly entertaining! I loved it. Josh Gad surprised me with his rugged portrayal of Mulch Diggums but Lara McDonnell stole the show in my opinion. Great casting overall! I also have to give a nod to the set designers and costumers. I eagerly await another foray into this wonderful world.

I loved this story. If you have Netflix and a couple of hours, then please sit down with your loved ones and prepare yourselves for an experience. I couldn't stop my emotions and at the end, I found myself softly weeping. We can do good in this world. If I see someone who needs help, I will help them.
