A wildly inappropriate movie that portrays sex positivity in a highly toxic manner. Promotes invasion of privacy, stalkerism, manipulation of both naivety and trust for predatory gain. Truly highlights the millennial age's inability to develop healthy relationships but not in an educational format. One obvious factor people struggle to grasp is that the world of film can make the most awful things look amazing. This movie makes bad behaviour look adorable because the guy ends up falling for the girl. Talk about stockholm syndrome. You have to work hard to achieve that theatrical kind of love kids, trust me. More work than you could imagine. I love a good romance movie and artistic expression but please don't let your adolescent kids watch this low-grade soft-porn waste of time.

I have a rule about Amanda Seyfried, no movie with her as the main role is of good quality. This movie continues to reinforce that logic. When the overly religious think they're capable of great cinema, you often get disappointing results like this movie.

Amazing, realistic and displaying the reality that the police force is flawed in more ways than one. That the word criminal doesn't always equate to a bad person.

It's literally a movie about how someone got away with murder and then supporting that method. Vomitous. But, from a fictional point of view, love the conjuring experience. Nevertheless, being based on a real story, this movie should not be recommended to anyone. It is a gross violation of justice in the end.

Definitely a more positive and ambitious way to present a love story involving a cis person falling for a trans one. We need more fiction in our LGBTQ+ stories, especially during these times when seeing the light at the end... feels like a huge stretch. Tick of approval.

#Disclaimer: Not so much spoilers but, the context of my review may hint to certain aspects of the storyline. Another attempt by religious zealots to indoctrinate the bane of humanity, known as theology. The moral is to embed the extremely dangerous notion that scientific research is an enemy of people and their faith via fantasy, action and romantic themes—the three most attractive genres to young, unsuspecting minds. Science is neither friend nor foe, it is simply the study of existence. If the study of life nullifies the stern beliefs of outdated ideals from literally thousands of years ago, tough luck. Progress in many scenarios means discarding dearly held values and logic because they are redundant. Religion is ultimately, evidently inaccurate and unhealthy. Not an opinion. Please be wary of these types of shows as they attempt to instil division between people for the sake of ideological retention. I enjoy them for their artistic feel since magic and mythology are quite entertaining but remember it's all fiction. It's all fun. None of this should be taken to heart. I would generally rate higher, mainly due to the way they converged older style fiction into a modern setting. Still, once again, it's all an intricate method used to pull the attention of younger or vulnerable minded people, in order to brainwash them. I'm genuinely surprised that Netflix of all shows went down this path. For a progressive organisation, they dropped the ball on this one. Anyhow, I shall finish the show because I have this tendency to feel inclined to finish most shows/movies I view unless they are so horribly orchestrated that it's merely impossible. This show is not yet one of them, but I will edit the post if my observation changes.
