Connor Broderick

Not even in the same ballpark as the masterpiece “the talented Mr. Ripley”. The characters are way off from the truth. Tom is a murderer with intent in this series. I don’t agree with the direction at all. I can appreciate the attempt but it’s a failure in comparison. It’s frustrating to watch because the characters aren’t true to how it’s supposed to be portrayed. We are supposed to feel empathy towards Marge the most. And compassionate towards Tom. We are supposed to feel jealous of Dickies life. They did not bring those emotions into the series at all. It’s just a cold blooded murder. Matt Damon will always be the best Ripley. Nothings makes me enjoy the new series.
