Don't fall for Republican politicians saying that single pay or socialist health care is bad, I live in Canada and was given great and timely health care in the last 3 years I've had 2 major kidney surgeries and just 6 months ago open heart surgery performed by a world class Doctor! If I lived in the U.S. I would be bankrupt! The only out of pocket fee I paid is for my meds! Yes our taxes are higher than yours but they pay for world class health care among other things!
