Lies of P is an incredible game. After Elden Ring introduced me to souls-likes, I decided to explore the genre a little more. When I got Lies of P I fell in love with it's story and world immediately. There is so much emotional depth later on in the game, and the worldbuilding and soundtrack are immaculate. Comparing to Elden Ring, in terms of gameplay I barely have to hand it to Lies of P, it manages to be more consistently difficult than Elden Ring while somehow also being a bit less frustrating. In particular, the two gank fights in lies of p, while they seem undefeatable at first, were very doable once I figured out their aggression patterns. The linearity of Lies of P is definitely a breath of fresh air after all the open world lately, and it helps the questlines be much easier to follow.
