I'm always so late to see a movie but this one was so worth it. James McAvoy is an amazing actor and he delivered everything that needed to be delivered in this role! I have to watch the other movies in the trilogy but this one stands on its own. Absolutely a must see for those that love thrillers!

Kinda disappointed but still a good movie. None of the backstory was explained. Was hoping to see how/why the aliens landed and learn more about them. No new information was revealed so it was the same old "try to escape the monster" movie. In the 2nd movie, they said there was an epic attack when the people tried to escape on the boats. Out of 12 boats, only two survived. This scene wasn't included in this Day One movie was would have been nice to see. Would have been nice to have a link to the original Abbot family as this feels like a stand alone movie. There were some good jump scares and tense situations so still a good watch.

This was a great movie! Plenty of twists and the plot was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this. Jessica the main character was believable and fantastic. Blumhouse dropped another hit and I am a fan!

I saw this movie because I felt like I "should". It was better than expected but the original is still at a higher standard. Fantasia did a wonderful job as Celie. Taraji should not have been cast as Shug. It just didn't work or fit to me. Too many celebrities took away from the deeper meaning of the movie. H.E.R and Ciara are very talented singers, that didn't sing...in a musical. Those roles could have been given to rising actresses. Still a good movie and worth the watch but seeing the original is a must.

I sat back, relaxed and grabbed my snacks! Best cab driver ever! Corey ate that 30 second clip. The animatronics was on point. Go ahead and samurai slice that like button on CoreyxKenshin! Let's go baby!

This movie was the best! It stayed true to the video games and the music was spot on. Peach was such an awesome female lead and Mario was perfect. I grew up playing all the games so to see this on screen was phenomenal. The casting was amazing and I can only hope Nintendo and Illumination make a sequel.

Not worth the hype. Could have been so much better but instead just got confusing and lots of unnecessary scenes. Margot Robbie was an excellent choice in portraying Barbie but this movie fell flat. Disappointed to say the least.
