So the first 75% of the movie is not bad at all. going along the same lines of "Alien", a bit more graphic - which is a good thing. But there is a moment, where the entire thing cross the very thin line of "stupid but nice" to "WTF - this is stupid, get me out of here". (spoilers below) - That moment arrives roughly when shutting of the "gravity field" and shooting all the aliens, Rambo style. Say that's fine; but the acid spray that's left behind, putting aside the fact it won't just "be" there statically; is just stupid. but Fine. from here, it just becomes much worse. Why did the Xeno save her? to take her to the nest, great. then why so gently and to the ladder? grab her, run to the nest. later, almost out of bullets, and suddenly it magically reloaded? WTF? And if that wasn't stupid enough, now we come to the human baby. JFC. really. except of being disgusting - what was the point there? I really wanted to like this movie - but that is one movie that is simply an insult to he entire series, AVP included, and it's not even good fun entertainment.
