The title of the movie should be "Hope is not a plan." What were they thinking? Oxen would consume 10 to 15 gallons of water a day at a minimum, times 6 plus other pack animals. You would need 50-75 gallons a day just for livestock if you were rationing it but they managed over a week with less than 55 gallons total? They dumped a wagon but left the canvas, extra parts/pieces necessary to keep the remaining 2 operational? Really? I get it, its Hollywood but this was just so completely unrealistic. 1 hour and 45 minutes of my life I will never get back.
