This series keeps getting better. The cast obviously has great chemistry -- the relationships between the characters feel real. It's a great cozy mystery -- plenty of cozy and the mystery keeps you guessing. I love the location, as I've visited Martha's Vineyard a couple of times. Even though you can sometimes tell that they're not filming on location, overall they do a great job of keeping the look similar to the Vineyard. Thanks for casting someone who doesn't look like a Barbie doll as the co-star. She has good chemistry with Jesse and seems believable as her character, as does Jesse Metcalfe. He's perfect in this role. I've heard of him, but have never seen him in anything before, and was pleasantly surprised. I hope there are a lot more movies in this series. I would say it's my favorite of the Hallmark mysteries, but it's impossible to pick a favorite with Aurora mysteries, Crossword Puzzle mysteries, and now Chronicle mysteries. I'm trying to get to all the others, too. As a writer of a cozy mystery series, this has become my favorite channel.
