Asuran is probably the best movie of the year ! Excellent direction and acting. Good amount of violence (which most Tamil movies have these days) and beautifully taken romance. I was not a big Dhanush fan in the past, but this movie made me one. Manju Warrior didn't do well for her role. May be she is not ready to take such deep roles in Tamil yet. Casting other than Manju is superb. Especially Tejay Arunachalam, Ken Karunas and Ammu Abhirami. All these young actors are very promising. Many kudos to Tejay.

It's like a documentary on a conspiracy theory. Overall a good movie. Casting is not very convincing. Actors are probably new and not meeting expectations. Direction and script also could have been more robust and interesting..... It's not really telling you who really was behind it or how it's been done.

A hollywood style presentation of true events during the surgical strike performed by brave Indian soldiers on pakistan. A sweet revenge for the cowardly act of pakistani soldiers on Indian soil while they were sleeping. Well written script, acting, direction all came together

It's like s story book of Ex Prime Minister of India. Dr. Man Mohan Singh, who had everything but a spine. The man was over qualified for the job and had the majority from the people. But acted as a slave to the Gandhi Dynasty and literally took the country back 10 years. When he was leaving country was dragging with 4.8 GDP...a man who is known as one of the best economist in the world. Anupam Kher is living as Man Mohan Singh.

This is obviously not my cup of tea. I was hoping way too much from two big actors of hollywood. Even the story was difficult to digest, as is it that bad staying in a lighthouse when you have two people just for few weeks? What about a submarine or a Trench in a war zone? It's hard to digest. No idea how this got too many good reviews.

Based on a real incident, this movie is a thriller. If you like to hold your breath for nearly two hours, this is one good movie to watch. A well taken survival drama by a new director will test your patience throughout. Amazing acting performance by young actress Anna Ben. I am seeing her second time in malayalam. First being Kumbalangi nights, which she proved to be very promising. Aju Varghese as police inspector is done an ok job. Lal acted very well as father of the heroine. It's an incident movie and keep your heart beat high.

If you like action like "Mission impossible" here is an Indian movie full of it. Two great looking machos of Indian movie did it all. Hrithik Roshan is matured to act as a senior army guy and Tiger getting better at his acting. It's a thriller to the end. Good fighting, Dance and all in one. Thank God it didn't go romance and usual Hindi filmy events. Story is not very strong built, but a good entertainer with Hollywood touch.

One night movie with a star hero like Karthi. Good direction. Karthi did a great job as usual. Reminded me of his earlier movie with Tamanna in which he drives a car with heroine from Chennai to Bombay. Narain also did a good job. At some point, it drags but overall a good movie.

Bigil is not a very typical Vijay movie(Comedy, Dance, fight, romance in sequence) after the first half. It starts with all of the above to please Vijay fans. Vijay's double role as father of Vijay was not very well crafted. He trying very hard, but is not ready for an old man role yet. Second half it doesn't look like a Vijay movie at all. Chuck de influence is there too. Enjoyed the movie. It is a family entertainer if the kids are trained to accept some violence.

Dreamgirl is all about Karam who was desperately looking for a job. He is well known for his ability to imitate female voice and used to act as female characters from childhood onwards even though he didn't like it that much. Movie is a end to end comedy with Ayushman Khuranna proving himself as a hitmaker again. Is there a struggle for the director to figure out how to end this movie? And Karam sometimes go to extreme to slip into comedy overloaded. Overall good entertainer and you can not miss the laugh. Entire theatre was laughing out loud most of the time.
