I wanted to read about the dogs. I did skip some of the ages in the book. Too.much on the Pestigo fire. Way too much detail in some places. Loved most the stories of John, Mary, frank, and them being on the farm. Again wanted to read more about the dogs and enjoyed those parts. Feel.the story could.have used a good editor
