A total shame to reduce one of the most influential figures of all time to what is essentially a petty thug. Noobs and people with 0 culture will nag about it being an entertainment piece, but I see it as a ignoring the filmmaker’s duty to present a balanced view such that at least people are not immediately thrown off by a man who did enormous good to the world, albeit much harm as well. Even Britain shows enormous respect to the man, they have stations / streets / squares named after battlefields and generals who fought against Napoleon. Sir Ridley Scott now unfortunately has a huge black mark on his CV from my POV.
