Keriann Meyers

It's hard to describe this movie. It was one of the deeper Seth Rogan movies I've seen, though I wouldn't exactly call it deep. His acting was quite good, I was actually really internally angry with his character for being so immensely insensitive towards his great grandfather, who I sympathized with very much. It's a silly premise, being pickled for a century then 'coming to' into essentially an entirely different world and then having no support, not understanding how the world works now, and trying to build a new life all over again, but I did enjoy it. Grab a seltzer and check it out!

I gave this five stars because I couldn't stop watching it. Jesus Camp is profoundly disturbing and sad. While I'm sure the intention of the documentary's subjects was to bring more people to Christ, it only reinforced my belief that brainwashing children to become "Christian Soldiers" is a form of child abuse. I couldn't tear my eyes away from it.
