I loved this movie--another great film by A24. However, whomever decided that this film be classified as a Horror Film needs to be fired. I understand that there were some moments, albeit very short moments, during the movie that were suspenseful, but in no way scary or horrifying. The movie was phenomenal and really goes to show that dialogue does not have to be the main component of the film to properly express emotion, build storyline, and develop characters. This movie moved me to tears and I wish it was an hour longer. I know it is a common theme in an A24 film to be a little bit mysterious and leave you asking questions, so it won't be in the cards for a second film I'm sure. Although, if it were to have a second part I would be front of line for the premiere. If you're thinking of watching this movie and you are not a fan of a quiet, thought-provoking, and generally strange movie--it's not for you. I cried twice. Love it.
