During my first watch through, I was watching it as a film maker (which I am) so I picked out plot holes and minor details instead of enjoying the movie. Watching it the second time as is I didn't think of criticizing it in anyway, so I enjoyed it more than the first time. I loved the Hotel Transylvania movies growing up and it shocked me that the first movie I was genuinely angry at was an installment in said series. Thinking over it, I knew it was a good movie and I didn't give us a fair watch the first time. It is a family friendly movie, meaning it's more targeted towards kids than young adults. Kids don't worry over plot holes and missed lore. They just want a fun movie with cool characters and awesome visuals. I'm glad I see that now and didn't stay angry at it. Overall it's a pretty good movie. Not the best movie in the installment (that would be one of the first 2 movies), but it's not that bad. It's a movie I could watch again and find some enjoyment in.
