Last night I watched Holmes and Watson after a very long day at work. Right from the start I enjoyed the movie partly because I love the chemistry between Will Ferrell and John C. Riley, and because they separately were just so darn funny and endearing at the same time. The slapstick humor, and connections to modern day society, kept me chuckling through the first half of the movie. However, midway through I found myself losing focus a bit, but was also more than ready to hit the sack. Upon watching the second half the next morning I again found myself enjoying the silly banter between Ferrell, Riley, and the supporting characters (loved "cat woman"). I found Holmes and Watson to be a fun, lighthearted movie. Will rent it again sometime when life gets too serious.
