First time watching the show tonight. Not sure transplant need is cutting edge comedy. Linda Lavin and Sara Rue have some potential. Not sure I'm crazy about the leads. Probably won't tune in again.

I suppose if I were 16 again I'd be writing a different review, but I'm 59, came out in 1978 and never looked back. This series starts out a bit like what I would envision a Pride Month Nickelodeon Special would be, but it did get better by the fifth or sixth episode. Episode 8 was particularly good. I was a bit disappointed with the ending of the final episode. It was somewhat lackluster. Acting is pretty good overall. Some of the storylines were a little on the fluff side. If you have some extra time, it's a worthy watch.
