Fell in love. I love this game, you can make friends, buy items, and have cute cool, and awesome looks it's really fun. I decorate my den and buy new pets and animals. And the memberships unlock COOL features. I give 5 stars. RANT This game is really an awesome game and honestly, it is my favorite game. But I only gave it a 2-star rating is because it delivers updates but when we ask for things to come back as an animal it comes back in a bundle. Usually costing 1000 sapphires. (The premium currency is sapphires in Animal Jam) And this basically makes us spend a bunch of money just for one or two things that we wanted in one bundle. It's ridiculous. Even though they bring back animals nobody really cares about them. TBH (To be honest) I disapprove of this method. It seems like the only thing they are truly seeking is money sometimes, and in the past (I am a paying member and I spent 120 dollars on the membership) it seems that a lot of updates seemed member-oriented, and not too many actually exciting features have been added to the game. The only exciting ones are Members Features, and seriously it was just taking care of your pets. Not too exciting. The only exciting thing (That isn't even exciting is just a new animal, den and pet. And the past dens have been huge, and people might think that in some way that is a good thing but no, not really because then you can't really decorate them well without being a den-decorator. The past animals have been weird looking and we seriously just want some nice old animals to come back or some we actually recommend. It seems they aren't really paying attention to the community and just wanting to make a game filled with people spending money and buying microtransactions. The pets are the only actually okay looking thing. I am seriously hoping that 2021 will be better than 2020 because honestly they just added the "Tufted Deer" not at all a cute animal. Has a weird dance which is super creepy. They added a rhino which no one liked including me. They added elephants and hippos which weren't popular and the Himalayan tahr. And the ili pika wasn't really GREAT, even though it was kinda cute if you found the right items to go with it. But I honestly hope to god that they add animals and dens from 2016-2018. I mean 2020 was a wasteful year and just added stuff from AJC, the old computer version of animal jam. But It's a good game for the most part but it has scammers, recently had a data breach, hackers, its not all cupcakes and rainbows here. It's just they really just push out updates, and they are LATE for them but then it's not even really creative, I am seriously hoping 2021 has some old animals or at least something we asked for. I think animal jam deserves a 2-star rating for 2020. Not a community-oriented year.
