I’m gonna outright say it, this was one of the worst Dork Diaries book I’ve ever read. This whole tour thing was mentioned multiple times in the previous books so I was expecting it to be described in greater detail. The slang and the way the characters talked all sounded so similar, like they didn’t have any differentiation. The way words were used was just cringe. I also didn’t really like how Nikki just kept things from Brandon at the beginning of the story when she could’ve just easily told him and not get into all the craziness with Mackenzie. Nikki’s whole experience with the Bad Boyz was so just unrealistic, it felt like some type of watt pad story. The ending was SO rushed, you could really tell that the author just wanted to get the book done and over with. And the multiple quizzes through the book were a waste of pages, I feel like it was used to make the book longer. Overall, this was very disappointing, maybe the series should just end with Nikki and Brandon finally becoming a couple cause at this point it’s getting lame.
