There are some things I like about this show, but most of it I can’t bring myself to watch anymore.
I started to really enjoy watching Amy and Tammy go on their weight loss journey, but it became apparent pretty quickly that Amy was much more committed, sure she made some mistakes and she knows that, but Tammy treated the whole thing like a joke. She didn’t want to lose weight, the excuse was always “I’m trying, but it’s hard” or “Amy hasn’t been helping me enough” or something similar. Amy does literally everything for her, I would be surprised if she didn’t wipe her backside, since there’s no way Tammy could reach, and with a baby introduced and her own life to live, Tammy still demanded her sisters full time devotion like a selfish little brat. She picks fights and stamps her fat little feet when she doesn’t get her way, behaving more like a teenager than someone in their mid 30s, and it’s always someone else’s fault when she’s in pain or gaining weight because she can’t be bothered to stop shoving food down her own neck. She thinks she’s hilarious when she’s purposefully aggravating people, and she’s pathetically volatile and rude the entire way through, ignoring people and playing on her phone like a child when they tell her to behave, and turning on anyone who tries to help her. She’s a nasty, vindictive bully with a victim complex, and if she wants to eat herself to death then please, let her.
The constant fart jokes are very childish for two supposedly grown women, and towards the end of season 2 the only really good thing about the show is Chris, who actually cares about losing the weight. Amy does get back on track, but as a new mother I can understand giving her some slack.
Bottom line, if selfish little babies who like to throw tantrums and lash out when someone isn’t there to do everything for them and now at their very feet irritate you, don’t watch this show. Tammy is a disgrace, her attitude is vile, and she deserves to be shunned for the spectacle she’s made of herself.
