Maybe if I hadn't watched Top Gun: Maverick the week before, I wouldn't have been as let down after seeing Jurassic World: Dominion. The movie had so much potential with amazing acting talent, but the plot totally missed the mark. I understand the connections it attempted to make, but using giant locus and child obduction as the catalyst is just so far from the reasons we all fell in love with the original. Trying to spoon feed the normalization and world wide governmental acceptance of dinosaurs wandering around the streets and your back to the audience was comical.
