Bronwen Jones

A brilliant story beautifully told. The relationship between the two brothers is, for me, the heart of the drama, and the way they, and their parents and friends, deal with the battles and hardships in their lives is moving and compelling. Sometimes I found it almost too sad to watch, but the quirkiness, humour and warmth of (most) characters is enough to balance the darkness. Plus Gus's drawings are, quite literally, magical!

I didn't enjoy it as much as the first Trolls film. It's a good concept with a laudable message of tolerance of difference and great visuals. However, for me it lacks the heart and engaging story of the first.
