Possibly the worst "Basketball" game I have ever played. No defense, you cannot stop players from scoring (blocking is nerfed, stealing is always a foul, and with right badges players are unguardable), not too mention the badge system is pretty much incomprehensible now. The shooting is so broken I gave up trying to make it work. It just seems so random no matter if build your own release and you are rated high and wide open or not. The grind of time, a record number of trivial "quests" and the demand for virtual coin is at an all time high, including an actual "season pass" so yes, prepare to spend another 100 bucks just to compete after initial purchase if you don't want to grind for a week just to build one 70 attribute player, who will never crack the starting rotation. The days of frequent locker codes and daily free items are gone, EA Sports is the greediest company I have ever seen in 49 years of gaming. As a fan of decades, I am done. This is the last purchase of their products I will ever make. Literally, it is as if they hate basketball and made a "basketball" game around that idea. The WORST game in a series of awful games.

Fun game, better than previous gens, although I have to admit I have never seen a sweatier multi player base than this game. The lengths players go to get the upper hand is borderline psychotic. The gimmicks they use from uniform design to the rumored PC mods is outlandish. Of you play online be prepared to play a game of roulette. I have found few genuine players who simply run a "clean" game. Otherwise look for exploits the designers never even thought of...
