Great game solely because the gameplay & dynasty. I’ll admit, probably a 4 star game, but its absence made me realize how much I love the game. It is way more interesting than any other sports game. The football gameplay is easily the best ever. The physics are better than Madden. Gameplay is more realistic and more fun to play than 2k, NHL, The Show, etc. Recruiting is fun although the menus do take some getting used to. The AI for recruiting is not perfect. That said, it’s pretty good. Road to glory seems mid, have barely tried it. If you like player career modes, you’ll probably disagree with this review. The AI in sims needs work. The playoff is full of 3 loss teams, have even seen a 4 loss team. Group of 5 teams routinely get a bye with 2+ losses. ACC and Big 12 get too many teams. In four years of dynasty ACC has always gotten 4 teams. They need to fine tune this ASAP. SEC & BIG 10 will most likely most years get at least 7 teams in the bracket with ACC/Big 12/G5 filling out the other 5.

Two stars for the first two episodes. Essentially the theme from EU Rule of Two merged with prequel and Disney sequels thematic urge to mock the Jedi Order. At least the prequels did so somewhat tactfully. Nothing new here other than surface level visuals and characters. Some of which have some promise. Disney’s main mistake was made when they acquired SW IP and nixed EU as canon. Now they decide to utilize its story beats and themes much less effectively. Star Wars isn’t the heroic franchise it used to be. It has become better drama off screen than it is on screen.
