Hands down the best game I have ever played. The boss fights and the number of diverse things you can do in this game are amazing from doing quests and fighting bosses in PvE (player vs. environment) to making builds and dueling players in PVP (player vs. player). I do not think this game is violent because it has some death scenes, but no gore. You also spend the entirety of the game fighting enemies with medieval combat style not with guns. Since there are no guns in Elden Ring, I think It’s appropriate for kids 8 and up who love video games. I am very surprised that this game is rated mature because it’s like Zelda, a rated everyone game but just a little more graphic. Although think this game is a masterpiece, I think there are a few things they could do to make it even better, for example, adding a DLC, and a PVP arena. I enjoy the PVP over the PvE in this game and love testing different builds and dueling players. Although I prefer PVP, the PvE is the real beauty in this game. Elden Ring is like Zelda Breath of the Wild on steroids. Note that this game can be unforgiving. It is not designed to be easy and you will often end up learning the hard way. If you are expecting to get good at this game, you will have to learn the many combat styles of the wide variety of enemies in this game. The same applies to PVP and you will have to learn how to create a powerful build that can deal with a large variety of other builds. This game is perfect for the short-term if you are in it for the PvE. It is also great for the long term if you love PVP. Just remember that Elden Ring is only for you as long as you are prepared for a high-skilled challenging game.
