Zi Yi – Google

This is nothing like Strong Girl Bong Soo which I enjoyed so much. It is over the top and cartoonish. The female lead, mother of Nam Soon over acts, dresses over the top and isn’t believable. She is all show and prances around in her costumes. The daughter Nam Soon acts cartoonish and one dimensional. It is difficult to sit through this series. I hope they don’t plan to have another painful sequel.

After watching Park Eun Bin in Extraordinary Attorney Woo and King’s Affection, her latest drama is a letdown. I didn’t feel any chemistry between the two leads, And young Ki Ho is much more believable and the young actor playing him is really good. The adult Ki Ho somehow has none of his earnest looking eyes and pales in comparison. Her idol Yoon is not very smart, self centered and an irritating character. This drama lacks the oomph and is only passable after all the hype. Disappointing.

Overrated drama. The plot is overly long and draggy. Jo Bo Ah’s acting is not convincing. Her range of expressions are limited and tries to play cute and coy. Cringy and annoying female lead. Rowoon is stiff when he tries to play cool and aloof. I have seen him act much better in other dramas. As a viewer I m not convinced of their “love” I don’t root for them. Most of the time I just fast forward due to too many repetitive scenes and not much of a storyline.

I liked the show but found that towards last few episodes the storyline became a bit lazy and wrapping up the story in a slipshod manner. It didn’t have the energy it did in the beginning. It would have been more complete if they hasd shown the prince bringing his sweetheart back to the palace and their final promise to each other fulfilled. The Vice Premier got killed too easily for such a crafty and evil person.
