Cloverfield Paradox, while mildly entertaining, is contrived jibberish. An attempt at a sci-fi movie by somebody with no clue about science. Capable cast, good sets, sound effects and musak are good, and lots of nods to great films - alien, evil dead, gravity, and a few more, but no coherent plot to speak of.
