Painfully beautiful movie, that uses Hong Kong as a character along with the people living in it who are coming to terms with their own deaths and new beginnings. The film demonstrates the strong desire for all entities, be they cities or people, to recreate themselves in the face of defeat. The music was hauntingly beautiful and perfectly pulls the viewer further into the world of this beautiful city and a chosen few of its inhabitants.
