TJ Wash

This show is awful, which pains me to say since she was one of my favorite characters on The Good Wife. What made her so good was that we got just enough of her to want more, and until later seasons, we knew little about her personal life. The formula of this show dooms every single episode within 5 minutes. The show opens with a crime, we see who commits it so there's no mystery. Then, Elsbeth arrives on the scene. Within 3 minutes of arriving she zeros in on who did it, the rest of the show is her filling in the pieces, which would be interesting if we weren't already sure that she's right. The enjoyment of a crime show is that we get to try to solve the crime along with the detectives. She's not even a detective, she's a consultant, and much like the show The Mentalist the score of solved cases is Elsbet all of them, seasoned detectives who've been doing this for years, nada. They might as well fire them all. I watched the whole first season, trying to give it a chance. I suffered through 3 episodes this season, on the 4th episode I stopped at 10 minutes in, that will be the final 10 minutes that I will waste my time with this. I can't believe the makers of the show and the actors aren't aware of what a bomb this is. There are also no supporting actors that have a compelling appeal, or storyline.

The OJ Simpson show is good, but it’s really annoying how much time is given to the Kardashian family just because they’re famous now. The kids don’t deserve anything more than a brief mention, yet they keep getting worked into the story in a very disjointed way.

I want to like this show, I like the premise, but it's profoundly flawed. Every episode there are guest actors that are horrible and a lot of over acting and screaming rather than conveying what appears to be genuine emotion. And Vic, the deputy is the worst, the woman who plays her was equally terrible in 24. She's just annoying and scream acting in both. There's also just too much drama and anxt and contentious relationships throughout the main cast. Anytime a character solves a problem there's no time to relax and enjoy it before bigger problems arise. Longmire plays himself off as being noble but he really is a scoundrel with a very flawed moral compass. All this said, I've still held on through 2 seasons, but I'm probably done.

I like crime dramas but I don't want to see the gore or spend too much time in the head of the killer like CSI and Criminal Minds. Elementary has all the intrigue of solving the case, the insight into the mastermind, and a good bit of humor. Lucy playing Watson isn't a great fit, not mid-way through season one. She's kind of bland and wooden, she's great when she plays characters like Ling on Ally McBeal, kind of edgy, as Watson she is edgeless, but doesn't drag the show down.

Season 5 is unwatchable. It ruined the series worse than season 4. It is arguably the greatest TV comedy of all time otherwise.

This movie was horrible. The “background music” was rubbish songs, and so loud that it overpowered the dialog, which was pretty bad as well. The lead older male character was so unlikable that it was hard to watch, and the storyline just slogged along till the dramatic plot twist, which was handled poorly.
