I wish I could give this movie less than 1 star. Myself and my brother both have read the whole series. I watched this movie with my family excitedly to show them the amazing story my brother and I knew growing up. Little did I know they were going to cram 7 books of material into one movie. My parents kept asking me if I knew what was going on, and honestly half of the time I couldn’t answer because I didn’t know if they were keeping a segment on track with the original book it came from or if they were going to just splice in another unexplained event from a later book in the series. A serious misjustice to the original books, and a unfollowable story for those who have never read the books.
